A Career Built in the Laboratory
Mr. Rengasamy, after completing his B.Sc. in Chemistry and a PG Diploma in Soap and Cosmetic Technology from the Khadi and Village Industries Commission, Nashik, joined as a Soap Chemist in January 1989 at the Tamil Nadu Khadi and Village Industries Board, one of India's oldest institutions dedicated to the development of cottage and small-scale industries.
Over the years, his responsibilities expanded from laboratory formulation to preparing feasibility reports for new manufacturing units, establishing production facilities, overseeing operations and training entrepreneurs under the Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme.
In recognition of his consistent performance and strong track record, he was promoted to Assistant Director, a position he held from April 2020 until his retirement in May 2023. Today, he offers independent consultancy built on decades of hands-on experience, providing practical, unbiased guidance focused purely on client needs, free from institutional limitations.
